...the Saints are now 12-0!...
here on the west coast we saw the missed field goal and subsequent kick-off... - so - with the ballgame on the line (and a very exciting one, at that) and less than two minutes left to go in the game - the saints have no timeouts left - can they do it??

for the then first play from scrimage they come out of the huddle... they line up... quaterback over the center... then... one tenth of a second before the center snaps the ball... right in the middle of what was about to be the start of play - the network cuts to a comercial.... huh??? what happened??... then another commercial.... and another.... and another.... wtf??

THEN the mystery was solved.... the network didn't just cut to a comercial - they cut to another game - the 49ers/seahawks...

which is why i HATE, HATE, HATE comercial television (especially football).... it's not about what's on television - it's about the comercials.

we on the west coast got screwed out of seeing the end of the game - thanks FOX Sports - you suck moby's.....

I read the game summar on MSN.

It didn't sound pretty....but a win is a win regardless of how they got there.

Congratulations to the Saints and to their loyal fans. It's obviously their turn and deservedly so.

shamefully plagerized:

On the twelfth game of season, Coach Peyton gave to me:

12 Romped Redskins,

11 Punked Patriots,

10 Battered Bucs, 9 Ragged Rams,

8 Pounced Panthers,

7 Dirty Birds,

6 Dunked Dolphins,

5 Shrunk-en Giants,

4 Wrecked Jets,

3 Beat up Bills,

2 Tame Eagles,

and a

Lion Sauce Picante!

dang: trend faltering...
hell firing up again
Somebody said this once:

to us forever fams, no matter what happens from here on out, it IS our perfect seasonBless You Boys and Who Dat

The Saints and Vikings seem to be faltering. Pats are looking better. Indianapolis is always a threat with that nobody quarterback they have.

LQQKS to me like the Saints of old...you may remember them as the Aints.

Who dat say they gonna beat them Saints? Prolly everyone from here on out!

This week the Colts proved what a great season the Pats really had in 2007-08. ;) I still think the Colts, Vikings and 'Aints have the best shot at the SB win, but it does show just how difficult a "perfect" record is. Any team can win on any given weekend.

Well, except for the Lions... :p

I had mixed feelings about the Cowboys beings the ones to ruin that perfect record. I really enjoy seeing Drew Brees play.

OK, so here go my overly-optimistic (and probably totally wrong) conference and SB predictions -

AFC championship: San Diego beats NO.

NFC Championship: Dallas beats Vikings.

Cowboys barely win over SD in the big show. :yahoo: ....and there is much rejoicing.

So the Cowboys beat the Saints...

-And-

MY VIKINGS JUST SMOKED THEM COWBOYS OUTTA THE PLAYOFFS 34-3!!!

Them Saints better do their homework for next week!!!

My Prediction: Next weeks game at the Superdome will decide who will win the Superbowl.
