Where've you been? The end of Polaroid film was announced months ago. Digital has already been used successfully in many rallies, and will be accepted in the IBR next year.

Digital was accepted since 2007 in Utah 1088 as an alternative, accepted and even encouraged this year in SPANK (including several optional digital video bonuses), and will be accepted and embraced in the 2009 IBR. Special rules and terms have been evolving to deal with it to be sure, but it seems to be working out reasonably well. I think the short-term issue is trying to keep digital on a similar competitive footing as leftover Polaroid.

I think many ralliers have either made the jump or will be making the jump in 2009. Wanna buy 5 rolls of film I still have?

Sorry then, my mistake! I'd seen that a lot of the rallys had accepted digital but I hadn't checked the IBR curent rules. This just looked like it would get any fence sitters off center.
