Left yesterday morning for my sister's home in Geenville, TN. Skys where gray and overcast, but no rain, didn't find the rain untill a few miles East of Indy, so only the last 500 miles did I get rained on. Wasn't to bad nice steady rain not a gully washer. Altho I was singing an old Beatles tune in my helmet for the last 100 miles............"We all live in a yellow submarine.....yellow submarine.........yellow submarine".
Went though Louisville, best advice don't go there from Indiana. They only have one bridge across the Ohio River for all the traffic. They closed the other bridge at New Albany cause it's got some big cracks in it (that don't sound good).
Spent an hour and a half getting thourgh Louisville, plus the rain, managed to turn a 10 hour ride into 13. WooHoo.
Coming off the mountain into Knoxville, saw a couple of huge bluish green flashes. sheet lightning, never saw it that color before.....interesting.
So I'm in a hotel in PIgeon Forge, all dried out and getting ready to leave for Deals Gap,Then sis's house this afternoon.
