But Sunday and Monday are the only days I have available to take advantage of my deer tag. If I fill the tag on Sunday, I'll definately show up for this. But my past history in the field suggests I'll still be tromping around the mountain Monday afternoon.

The Problem is Solved, Neil! I had an Irish brainstorm! I am going to call Don Carver and have him go on Monday's ride with the SoCal Mooks, then we are going to put your deer tag on dcarver's FJR; bigger than ****, Don will have bagged a deer for you within the first few hours of riding. Happens Everytime!!!

Note, I will be taking this last segment of this route back to Temecula. Others will be choosing their route.

It looks like a full days ride :yahoo:

and the logical tank refill would be in La Quinta after lunch.

I like to run at a spirited pace, as others do too, but with all the recent deluge I'm sure we will encounter run-off or debris somewhere rounding a curve. So let's use caution and have a fun, safe ride.
