El Toro
Innocent Bystander
II had two FJR 1300 AEs from October until yesterday.
I am obsessive compulsive and try to make everything I own both complete, and as close to new as possible.
I bought a set of body plugs for the '08, which I have now sold. If you have ever wanted to take the bags off your FJR, but weren't pleased with the gaping holes in the frame when you do this, the body plugs are the simple solution. FWIW, the bike looks really sharp with the body plugs when the bags have been removed, and you can install and unstall the plugs very easily, so when you want to put the bags back on, it's no big deal.
I did install them on the '08 and rode around with them since last November. I removed them yesterday before the sale. Discounted price through MR Cycles for the set is about $76. Bike Bandit is around $100 for the set if I remember right. They are in excellent condition, essentially "as new." I do not have the original packaging.
I would sell them to you for $50 with free USPS shipping to CONUS, and probably to Alaska or Hawaii as wel since first class is the same price to those destinations. These are not heavy and will easily fit in one of those small Priority Mail boxesl.
If you want pics, send me a pm with your e-mail, and I'll send pics to you.
