Hey, I tried to take exception to the term ******* but got shot down pretty firmly.

I didn't really see anything else to argue about . . . . :p

Back on the topic of weather, it was -4f this morning on my way to work. On September 25 coming down from Canada it was 106 in Lewiston, ID. So in less than two and a half months, we've had a 110 degree drop in Idaho (granted, Lewiston is a long ways from here...).

Looks like you southern people will get better riding conditions than us here in Minnesota for the next week. Temperatures aren't too bad, but the road conditions may be detrimental to your motorcycling health.....
I grew up in Michigan so remember riding when the roads were clear, sun out, and temp in the 30's. But, I got out of there; kinda why I live in Florida today. Not the best place is some ways, but dang I can ride all yr and that's what I like! Hi temp was 81 today...

Well, that earlier freeze didn't pan out, but last night sure did!!!! 20s well down into the peninsula last night!!!

Br-r-r-r-r!!!!

Warmed up during the day, though, still right at 50 outside, but mid to low 40s for tonight. Up into 70s by the weekend, lows in the 50s.

So we've finally had one of our 3 or 4, maybe 5 overnight freezes for the year! No more in the forecast for the rest of the month.

it cools down at night now but, after a short visit by freezing temps and drizzling days, we are back into the high 40's to mid 60's again.

We're a total electric house so the heat pump going into "emergency/supplemental heat" simply means going to what we always used before.

I'm getting pissed off with this winter. The temps keep bouncing around freezing and the constant freeze / thaw has totally messed with the skiing. There is no snow in the woods for snowmobiling so I have to spend all of my time in the pool hall shooting 9 Ball.

Fixed that for ya, Bill.

I go to the pool hall after spending the morning at Tim Horton's.

I hear you loud and clear Brother Bill, damn Arizona Winter wind keeps blowing leaves into my swimming pool and I have to keep netting them out before I can dive in!

WINTER SUCKS!

Leaves???? Where the smack did you guys get any trees??!?!??!?!

You talking about leaves is like me talking about grass in a fairway. Never seen it, don't know nuthin' about it!

Please define "morning". I'm guessing that is... like, 9AM to 10AM when the pool hall opens.

So please tell us, Bill. Do you make most of your income hustling the cougars at Timmies, or the poor shlubs at the pool hall?

edit - I think that Beemer DonS calls palm fronds "leaves"

Okey Dokey Pokey, Fred and Walt busted me good! There are no real leaves in Maricopa County, Arizona; I truthfully should have said cactus needles and palm fronds! jes' sayin' and nuff' said!
