Sounds Silly But, Where do you take your FJR?

Moving away from that sheep image for a momentary visit to the actual topic of the thread.....

I ride my FJR everywhere I can as long as the roads do not have ice on them and I don't have to carry anything the FJR can't handle. I commute about 60 miles each way but only go to the office a couple times a week, and I always take the long scenic way back home. I ride for groceries and errands and I take long rides just for fun whenever I have the time. I especially enjoy motorcycle camping.

Back to the original question, I've road two blocks to the store several times. I look for an excuse to burn gas

Boy, talk about hijacking a thread and going off on a "different tangent".

To get back to the poor man's question and to answer that; to work and back as work is 64 miles away, so a round trip of 128 miles. Running errands into "town" (DFW) as that is about 60-70 miles away and just riding when the weather is conducive and the once or twice a year big trip (2,000-5,000 miles in five to eleven days).

Is it my avatar that has some of you guys both excited and confused? Well, I'm not looking for that kind of attention. So....before this s&%t gets outta hand (no pun intended for you packers out there).....I'll try to find something different to post instead.

Yes! And everything in between unless, as has been said before, I need more room for bulky items (Dang that plywood is ugly after being dragged home on the FJR!).
