Sorry guys, I'm going to have to pass. :(

I just discovered I have a penis and I'm going to abuse the shit out of it this weekend.........................With my hand ;)

Ummmm.... Marc???? Really?
What do you think those Minnesotans do all winter? "I'm going to the sauna" is just code for "I'm going to be a sinner"

:p

Leaving from work today, so took bike to work. Checked air pressure this am in the garage...all good. Coworker told me at lunch time that my rear tire was flat...sure nuff it was. Plugged it...good to go for 1630 departure.

Have fun, wish i was there.

Staying inside next to the heater.

ever sneeze inside a full face helmet? Makes a mess.

Air temp in Wisconsin Dells, WI is a balmy 28* at 8a.m. this morning.

Hope the 'lectric gear is working!

Got back from chedderland about 3 today after 3 days of fun riding with Wheaton and OFace. Kinda chilly this morning - 28 brrr. With Wheaton starting out with the plugging incident on Friday, the mishaps just kept coming. My new fancy schmancy remote Heatroller didn't seem to be working right and I ended rewiring my heated liner to get enought heat. Then some one's rear tire went to shit :banghead: and Mark (1catquak) from Mineral Point, WI on the FJR assistance list came through with a take off that got me home. Thanks Mark I owe ya. Let's see, what else went wrong. Oh yeah, we had to push start somebody else's bike this morning because of their lame ass battery and I lost a couple more back lights on my dash so now I can't see fuel, time or temperature in the dark(who needs to see that anyhow). Other than those minor inconveniences it was a great weekend. I forgot to take my camera, so no pics, but I'm sure a few will surface. ;) Nice way to end the riding season. :yahoo:

Got home a little after 5pm local.

Had great time this weekend up in Wisconsin. Squeezing every last drop out of this midwest riding season. I had a blast...sunshine all weekend with some great riding roads and riding buds. Sorry the others couldn't make it...you ALL missed out. Wicked it up on a few roads...something just great about ripping that throttle all the way around the curves...knowing it may be the last time you get to do it for awhile.

I'll hope for long day rides...that's the only hope now for this season.

Thanks to Marty for the great planning, and expediting.

Thanks to Mark/ 1catquak for opening his garage, donating his tire, tools and elbow grease.

Thanks to Griff for the laughs.

Thanks to Perkins for the Pancakes...

:D

...and Thanks to Yamaha for the best damn sportstourer ever.

Glad everyone made it back safe.

Nice to meet some FJR riders out here in the sticks.

I'm always willing to help anyone on the FJR list.

Griff,

I was bored this afternoon so I took a band saw to your old tire.

You had about 5 millimeters of tire separating the inside air from the outside air.

What were you worried about?

What can I say? It was F'n Awesome! All problems got solved, we met a new Mark and he's a really nice guy. Helped us out in a time of need.

No damage, no tickets, no pirates clogging up the roads. I think we'll call this the Amigos Ride from now on. ;)

Oh Yeah... Griff, you forgot I Krazy Glued my fingers together... :dribble:
