Looks like Iggy's trip to Mesa Verde burned a bunch on time. According to his SPOT, at 10:20 MT he was still 50 miles east of the checkpoint in Bluff. I believe the checkpoint opens at 11:00 MT.

Not sure when/if penalties start but he needs to boogie.

Most of that road from the NP entrance to the top of Mesa Verde is under construction. I was up there last month and what should take 30-45 minutes took easily 3x that to get through.

Yeah it looks like it took him about 90 minutes to get in and out. He was 7 miles from the checkpoint at 11:01 so probably make it by 11:08. Hopefully the bonus was worth enough to offset any penalty points.

Meanwhile....Cruzin' reached the checkpoint with time to spare. He spent all day riding around Utah, from SLC to Zion, and then over to Arches before rolling into Bluff.

Dammit! Iggy's SPOT stopped AGAIN...this tme at 3:41 MT this morning. Looks like he was almost to Denver and then doubled back to Idaho Springs.

Why would he do that? Some weird timed combo bonus? Was he heading for the barn and decided he had time to bag one more bonus? Did he lose something important and turn back to look for it? Oh the suspense.

Meanwhile, Cruzin' is making his way to Denver from the north. Currently close to Fort Collins.

He's moving again. :clapping: I'm guessing there was a daylight bonus at Indian Springs he was waiting for and took some much needed rest.

Must be a good bonus at Mt. Evans. Iggy's on the way up and Cruzin' is on the way down the Mt. Evan's Scenic Byway.
