Spots to see in western Wisconsin?

Howdy...

I may head up to Anamosa, Iowa on Tuesday to see the motorcycle museum, and since the weather looks good, I may go on up to Decorah, Iowa and into Wisconsin for a day or two. My tires are just starting to show the wear bars, so I will only go as far as I think I can still get back home.

So... my question is: I like the Sturgeon Bay area but I don't think I can get that far-- any suggestions on where to go and what to see in a, say, 300 mile loop near La cross?

Any suggestions will be appreciated.
