Yeah that's fine Mark I'll add him in.
Thanks! Looking forward to meeting and riding with you guys.

If JoeCornMasher leads a group, I might opt to follow in someone else's tracks.....just sayin'
Thanks wheatie, I think I got it covered. You can just sit back & enjoy the ride.I would help...but I don't know the roads...and I have been known to crash while leading and too much looky-loo in my rear view mirror...plus, people complain about gravel and stuff when I lead...like it's MY fault or something.
edit: If I get my GPS sorted out...or if there are turn sheets, I could volunteer to lead a slow ass group..if needed.
Sorry to hear that Mike. Yeah there is a 50/50 chance of showers but that's not going to stop us.The switch in plans that freed me up for Sat. just got switched back :angry2: I'll have to miss this one. Looks like rain for Saturday, but hopefully it will miss you.
Is he going to be on his GSXR750 or the Victory? Thanks wheatie, I think I got it covered. I'll post up further details a little later. Right now Webby has agreed to lead the
the fast group, and you better be more than just thinking you're fast to keep up with
him. Having some track & or race experience will keep you out of trouble with his group.
I think I'll have another two groups that will cater to a more relaxed ride. This of
course can all change depending on the actual number people that show. Keeping it a safe
experience is most important, so regardless of what group you're with always ride
within your capabilities. We'll talk more on this at the breakfast.
I'm still planning on you Mark rain or shine. :drinks:Still a "GO" for me unless work flares up violently...
See you next time then. The forecast I just heard is a "chance of scattered rain or thunder storms & not a total wash out by any means".I will probably skip this ride - rainy Saturdays are for homebrewing. I'll get my ride in on the more aptly named Sunday instead.
That's the plan man.Still looking like rain for Sat. But either way I will be having breakfast in Hastings @ 8:00 and whether we ride or not can be discussed over coffee. Looking forward to the ride with ya'll.
We'll just have to wait & see on the weather I guess. The other day they they were predicting an 80% chance of rain & we got nothin. I'm hoping for the same.Marc; I'll be the first one to be a pu$$y. The forecast looks sucky for Saturday. Young Jason and I are going for a ride Friday (tomorrow), so he'll get to test out his new suspension before we go to Arkansas, or what's left of it after the storms. If the weather man really effed up, and it's dry Saturday, then I'll look for you guys going through Durand and tag along. I don't mind the cold, but the WET and cold on a day ride on twisty roads for my second ride of the year ain't gonna cut it. Let's hope the weather man is wrong. Sorry for backing out.....let the ripping begin.
No need to be sorry wheatie. We'll make it happen sometime this year.Sorry about bailin' gramps.Even if the weather gods had it raining...I would still ride up and visit. Occasionally work storms arise in my business, though. It's hard to pay for trips with unemployment money...
