Hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving. I'm leaving in a few for a SS2000 Gold attempt from my house in Visalia, CA to El Paso, TX and back.

I just talked to Ted and he is in great spirits. He is about 800 miles in, and says he is maintaining a 68 mph average, which is above what he needs to make this ride work.

I like to watch people attempt these types of rides but if they want to display the link on the internet don't start it at home. Start it at the gas station for your first receipt.

This is one of the main reasons I like Spotwalla.....The security feature of not showing where you house is.

I thought he had a huge padding of miles His time/distance ratio is great.

I would agree about SPOTWALLA with its "Secure" zones. I do not have mine programed yet.

I just fire up the spot after leaving out my drive. Yet sometimes on the finish- I will get sloppy

shutting it down.

Is he using I-8 as a bypass to avoid SkooterG and reconnect to I-10 maybe via 85 (?) via 95 (?)

Anyone know the return route?

Um, obviously not. He rode that route out, bypassing Pheonix. He'll be turning north shortly.
