Motoliberty??? Good people and a good place. Good luck on your ride.

Yea, construction through the Waco area sucks. Lots of folks got stuck in it after the MotoGP race. All the stuff going on after the West explosion didn't help either. 35 was shut down completely two days prior to MotoGP weekend. We took side roads all the way back into Dallas and enjoyed the drive. Hopefully last nights storms haven't caused any closures in the area. Some bad bad tornadoes passed through and they are still picking through the aftermath. Most was away from 35 though.

Eeew, just looked at spotwalla. He went through Austin on 35. Glad he made it through alive but he missed emptying his bank account in tolls so he could ride the 85mph tollway around Austin.

Last checked in at 78.9 mph - good job!

Is there a way to display the miles in one of the SPOT displays? I could probably figure it out point to point using the longitude and latitude, but that would take effort on my part.

West Texas (not to be confused with the town of West) is a great place for IBA rides. Long, straight and fast.

The speed limit is 80MPH on the great majority of I-10 and I-20 that he is riding. Looks like he was below the limit there?

Making good time. Interesting, I'd considered that loop exactly starting in Dallas for my SS1K attempt. Ended up running for BBQ instead. I'm glad I chose the BBQ but this is a good route for doing this.

Has anyone checked in streets n trips yet as to how many miles are in that loop?

I would do it, but I think I've got a cracked nail, or my gout is acting up, or something. But if I were to venture a guess.....just under 800?

You probably got the Syphilis again.....

Stay away from Marcs dog damn it.
You just have to deprive a guy of life's finer pleasures dontcha.

Thanks Jasen. That stretch South of Waco is kinda slow. What?? does he think he needs to eat or something? Slacker

I'll probably pay for that one.

That's the aforementioned sucky construction.

He's still hauling butt. He's running at least 2 to 3 hours faster than I was on mine single SS1K. I'm sure those 80mph speed limits helped.

Looks like he turned around short of his start position. Wonder if he's gonna go back around and end somewhere else. Getting interesting.

Or maybe he dropped something.

Dang! He spent all night riding the loop backwards. Stroke of genius - go through the Waco construction zone at night rather than during the day at the end of the ride.

Well, let's take all that respect I had for ya, and shower it on the guy on the R6. I did a 700+ mile day on a sportbike and swore never again! Shoot, by comparison it's easy on an FJR!!!
