Been told by 2 people I need to disconnect the battery and ground the neg. terminal to something to drain off any memory or some sh*t or the other that the fuel inject/map/whatever needs to be reset. Any help here?

Pretty standard on any computer controlled engine. Disconnect battery (neg. post--no sparks!), wait about 5 seconds, reattach. It's supposed to reset the ECM. I wonder if you lose the Barbarian jumper or any other mods that may have been done to the fuel mapping.

Try it and see what happens.

In the technical discussion page, someone mentions they had this problem with a car and had to drive it about 10 miles before the ECM reprogammed. ANother person relates that they disconnected their battery positive first and got an arc. Come to find out, they had fried some of the ECM loop. Go read the posting and see if anything there helps.

Well after trying a TBS I can't get #1 Cyl past 11hg. Gonna take it to the shop on Tuesday when they open. I'm sure thats why its been idling like sh*t...

Lightly seat all idle air bleed screws, then open 1/2 turn for a baseline start. Go from there.
