Either way, I am glad you came out relatively unscathed.

Glad you're more or less OK. Although I wasn't there at the time, I don't think this is an aggravation problem, it smacks more of duh! (expletive) stupid. She wasn't paying attention. Didn't look before turning and didn't feel the need to use a turn signal. What? you mean there are OTHER people driving on MY road? Well, I had no idea.

Would love to have seen the look on her face though, when the realization dawned that she has messed up big time!

I was driving through a near empty parking lot yesterday. SUV was stopped in the main lane with the driver in the car. (Not enough spaces big enough for you, dear?) I paused behind her for a moment. Nothing happened. Began passing her slowly, with a wide enough berth for.......... the 90 degree left turn without signal. Knowing that it was coming, I had my hand on the horn and foot ready to move to the brake. Poor lady must have hit her head on the top of her car, she jumped so violently. Who would have though huh? Another driver using HER parking lot.

Y'know, if you adjust those make-up mirrors just right......

...you can use them to see if anyone is around your vehicle. :dribble:

OF course, that requires the driver to actually look into them before making an overt move.

Didn't see this thread till today! Glad your mostly OK, the bike is repairable and this will end the crashing for now (as Burk said, this is the third).

Well baby is in the parlor ... I mean shop.

I met with the head Mechnic .... Steve, good guy for sure, he and I see eye to eye on my assessment . he has all the insurance info

that he needs to get going. Now its tear down time and see what else is tweeked. I need to give him some space to get

his job done, I will check back with him on Friday, he has my cell if he needs to reach me.

Parts were ordered today and I should be on some twisties soon. so MM, looks like the Jinx just missed me..

Now its time to work on them for some replacement riding gear including a helmet.

Whoa!!! You mean in an estimate of driver fault, her insurance (or insurance companies) don't cover riding gear damaged in the fall. I mean, if you were seriously injured, they would take care of your medical bills right? (not the same level I know). It seems like it should be; put me back to where I was before you smashed us all up. Just suprised they didn't cut a check for those things which were destroyed during the accident. Any farkling items, they failed to cover? Sliders and such?

Maybe it is because I live in Kweebeck, but what does her insurance have to do with you getting paid for the repair of your bike and replacement of any damaged riding gear? Isn't that what your insurance is for? They pay and THEY try to get it back from her insurance?

My bike was all back together this last Wednesday, the service manager took it for a ride.... he said it felt good.................

Then he dismounted and was giving it the once over look, thought the right side mirror was ... not level... after two other opinions, it was deemed the bracket on that

side was damaged and needs replacing.

Let's think about this....100% of all collisions where the bike goes over result in a bent front fairing stay...and they didn't think about it until now?

Er...uhm...check the rear sub-frame.
