Has anyone here installed the new ABS style Superbrace AND the Magnum Blaster horns? I am worried about clearance between the brace and the horns while the suspension is compressed.

I have, but it was only for a test fit and brief ride, so it wasn't an exhaustive test.

You *should* be okay as long as you don't take a big hit while at full (left or right) lock. If you hit a big enough pothole at speed to fully compress the forks while at full lock, striking the MB's is probably the least of your concerns...

Still, you might want to take pains to locate the MBs as far outboard as practical, just as to not tempt fate....

I trimmed the horn plastic a wee bit to help push the Magnums outward, like WC said. I still think they would hit my (MCL) brace at full lock and full compression, but also as WC said, I would care less about the $30 horns - something more pressing and expensive would about to take place.

Old style SB does indeed hit my MB's, but they just brush the outside under heavy compression. Ain't no big thang...

Thank you all for the prompt replies. I am trying NOT to imagine full fork compression at full lock, if you know what I mean!

I've had the ABS Super Brace (one they sent to replace the org.) and MB horns on for a few thousand miles with no problems (including some "extreme for me" riding at EOM). Like the others I trimmed away plastic from the black panels and some from the MB's themselves to help mount the horns as far outboard as possible like Warchild recommended. Hopefully that whole full lock full brake thing will never ever happen...
