The Supercross season kicks off with A1 Jan. 8 2011! The field is deep and the racing is going to be fantastic!!

Speed or CBS usually covers A1 live. Enjoy!!

#14  I can see him finishing the year in third.

Dungey could repeat for first.

Stewart and Reed, both out early with injuries, will DNF the year.

That leaves second place up for grabs. Villopoto?

We are huge Windham fans here!! I think Stewart and Reed are healthy and ready to go! Jake Weimer broke his arm at RV's home track the other day, so he is out for a while. Never count RV out! Dungey is a big threat with his momentum going.

Keep a eye on Canard and Grant!!! Should be fun!!

Ahh you are from State college distric 6. I have won a bunch of MX races there in the past. If Villopoto does not crash and stays healthy I bet it will be him or RD.

Yeah I believe three of the races are right here in Anaheim. Ya think I could make it to one of them.... <_<

The last time I went was about.... 25 years ago. :dribble: I need to get out more often. ;)

Thanks for the reminder.

Just two races at Anaheim this year. I think the third race is at Dodgers field. Should be an interesting venue.

We make St. Louis every year...and this year, we are going to Las Vegas for the final! Should be a hoot!!

Is Chump Reed going to have a ride? I watched the first few rounds of the Australian championship and he's saying things like he's got unfinished business and he's not done in the U.S. yet. I for one shan't miss him if he's not here.

Chad started his own team. I think it's called "CR22 Racing" Original! He will be on a Honda. I think he was very close on a contract with Troy Lee and when that didn't pan out he started his own team.

So when is Tedesco going to get a personal trainer so he can do more than 5 laps in the vicinity of a podium position?

A friend used to refer to Reed as "emergency backup champion." I guess with Villopoto and Dungey he'll be lucky to make "emergency backup podium filler." :)

What did you guys think of the Arizona race last night? Stewart looks back on form and RV looked comfortable following him for multiple laps. Those two are the fastest right now. Small wash out of the front tire for RV, but not a huge mistake. True to previous years, Dungey is starting slow and I think will be right in the mix over the next couple rounds. They're making a big deal out of Reed making top 5 in the first two rounds. I'm not surprised, he's top 5 but not podium anymore with the new guys. How about Trey Canard? No surprise he made the podium. He's solid for sure. Your thoughts??

RV and Stewart are the fastest riders on the track for sure. I think Dungey is is riding good, but everyone is healthy this year. I was really bummed the Grant got hurt again. Hopefully he is back soon! I'm backing Canard this year for sure! He is one to keep an eye on. As for Windham...Well I'll go ahead and say it, Magical! The guy is a pure joy to watch ride. Being a pilot, I always say watching Windham ride is like watching Bob Hoover fly. We hope he is in the top five and healthy at season's end.

On a side note: a friend of ours, Jason Hussey #677 is a privateer MX/SX rider. Jason has been working with our son and nephew with one on one lessons. Our nephew has been racing for several years and it's more a matter of finding speed than technique. Anyhoo, Jason contests the East Coast Lites SX series. This year he has been invited to race A2 by the Susan B Coman for the cure foundation. He is donating a specially painted (pink) helmet after the race to be put up for auction.

He will also be running one off plactics with pink graphics. If any of you are going to A2 please root Jason on!! I'm not sure if A2 will be televised or not.

Many thanks!!!

Doode - you mention KW and Bob Hoover in one quote? My new best friend! I remember seeing a young and upcoming KW at Mammoth Mountain MX years ago - he was smooth even back then.

Looking forward to Anaheim this weekend. SPEED @ 6:00 pm Eastern if you don't have the schedule in front of you. I have SPEED DVRed but not the CBS ones so I missed Oakland last weekend. Aurrgg! Anyway, I'll have to host a little Supercross party for the buds Saturday afternoon. I can't wait!
