You have got to be kidding me. I would only ride this beautiful, "one of a kind" custom bike on a bet. He reported only "using 91 octane" but I would guess that is needed with the modified air intake and Screaming Eagle exhaust.

I had a used Suzuki Savage (S40) for my wife, and a DR 650 for me (or my son).

Since they both had the same engine, and we put 20k on each bike w/o a whimper, I would say they can 'take a licking, and keep on ticking'.

There is a cult club that strips the S40, and mods it into a Cafe Racer (kit bike).

I rented an S40 to run around Oregon city (portland area) while visiting my Sis some years back, was a very good bike for the roads in that area.
