Miss you guys already and the rally hasn't even started! Today would have been the day to take off and begin my adventure. Instead I'm my hauling my stuff one car load at a time by myself to a girlfriend's house. Such a good time, my broken ribs really appreciate it. <Sigh>

Please keep up the entertainment, laughing doesn't hurt the ribs fortunately!

Sorry to here about your event. I was hoping to meet a FJR female Pilot. All the better reason to heal and look foward to riding again. Looking foward to riding with you in the future. I was taught wayback when to expect a get off for what ever reason, it happens. It sounds like you will be fine.

Thanks blueman, I was really looking forward to being there. Page was my suggestion of location this year, it just seems wrong in so many ways (to me) that I'm not there. 2 more months and my new apartment will be done. And then it will be a damn long time before I ever live with anyone again. It just gives them too much control over my life and plans. I work better alone! B)

AZ, UT and CO are top of my to do list. So much so that I may skip NAFO next year to do them instead. Not really a fan of the eastern half of the country. Maybe if Page rocks this year, y'all can do it again next year!

If the truth be known ....
...USC might finish No. 2 ..................in the PAC 10!!

Rich, using edited photos to make sport of others - that's juvenile. :D

You'll get yours.

Master Stanley, I really looking forward to riding with y'all through Southern Utah, under

the glorious southwestern sun. But I'll take less pleasure in it knowing the PNW'ers and

EOM'ers will be wringing out their undies every day.

We'll toast them perhaps?

Michelle, all of us attending SW-FOG are saddened you cannot make this event; and even more disheartened by your crash!

But as blueman says: Your future is out there, your bike can be replaced and it sounds like your body's healing up just fine.

As I said in our private messages, mi casa es su casa. Use my home and garage in Chandler, AZ as a base camp; and if I am not attending to my son Seth (or that other one, Skooty), I am retired and can take you out on day rides in the region.

Old Michael, I cannot agree more with your empathy for our FJR Brethren in PNW and at EOM. My Hibernian heart pumps peanut butter in my condolences for those poor, wet, soggy *******s. Closing my eyes and visualizing: I can just see Niehart sitting at an outdoor table at Pike Market in Downtown Seattle, rain splashing on his pie and running off his Ducati!!!

Even better, I see in my mind's eye a soaked and damp HotRodZilla at a Tennessee restaurant that calls itself a Mexican restaurant: Trying to eat a plate of "faux la comida Mexicana", we in the Southwest would not feed to our own armadillos!

Of course we'll raise a toast to our PNW and EOM brothers in greatest sympathy; laughing at their not attending SW-FOG!!!

Weather for Page, AZ Sept 24th thru 27th showing highs in the upper 70's to low 80's under sunny to mostly sunny skies and night time lows in the upper 50's with mostly clear skies and a quarter moon...... I am not saying any more or I will jinx it.....

Oooooooh, my goodness, that's good.

Blueman, I do agree that it's a crying shame that Michelle can't join us but there will be one FJR female pilot. I'm looking forward to meeting a great group of people. And Old Michael too!

I hope you guys & gals get sunburns! I know you won't belive this but it's raining cats and dogs here ;)
Dave, do you mind taking just a moment and describe what this "raining" situation is exactly? We've heard of it in Phoenix!!
Don: that comment was terrible! You suck. :p And I don't mean ugly wet spots either.

Though it really is true about my Mick neighborhood in Boston. One hand on your wallet at all times.

Can't stand the fact I'll miss this get-together. Gotta work more overtime...

Michael,

Tell work that you have to do a follow up down in page. Best OT ever!

Gregory, The overtime will pay for a trip down your way in 2010... if possible I hope to have you show me some nice roads. I'll buy the post-ride Dairy Queen treat this time. The money for the FJR's new set of tires went up in smoke due to a tempting Hibernian devil... the dastardly diablo pressed visions of Mexican mountains and cantinas before my eyes.

Old Michael, I want pictures of people in interesting poses -- I'm counting on hours of entertainment vicariously participating in the festivities through loquacious reports of lascivious hyjinks.

El jefe -- Wish I was there to give you a shot of Jameson's -- despite your inability to empathize with our soggy weather. Wonder if you guys get enough rain to water your rock gardens?

No hombre, we save our H2O for our mota plantations; es verdad!! Brian Boles and I are glad you're riding Mexico with us!!

Michael,

No worries, your always welcome here. Slightly south of where they eye you like so many sheep to be had. Instead of the DQ, we'll do some pie on top of Mt. Lemmon.

Gregory

Let me know if you change plans and head down there on Thrusday. We can difinately ride together!!
