Thanks for the info on the bearings. I have had my head bearings knock ever since I bought the bike new. I saw what you had done and thought I would try it. It worked out great. Thanks for the info!!

This looks like something I want to do. I'll be pulling the fork tubes off to replace the oil anyway.

Yep, perfect time. It's really a rather easy upgrade. The only thing I would do different is, if you a shop close, use a press to put the lower bearing on.

Thank you :clapping: Smitty for the write-up! My install went smooth as silk because of it. Just finished it last week. Can't tell how much better it made things, as I put on a new front tire at the same time, but it's waaaay better than before!
