I'm still game for being a tech. Again, will bring all tools-except the sync tool itself, for one "service bay". Would appreciate an assistant to make things easier. Will try to make it back from riding by 4:00 Friday to begin the session.
If you want yours done, please be kind and have your tank bag, seat, and black plastic tank side covers removed prior to the session. Also, be kinder and keep my glass full of cold beer! :coolsmiley:

So who can CONFIRM they are bringing a sync tool for this "bay", and who can CONFIRM they can assist? No sync knowledge needed...mainly there to hand me tools, keep track of bolts, and harass the owner to keep the beer coming for us?

I can bring my Morgan Carbtune & help out.

Tom

Does it matter how full the tank is?

B)

A quarter of a tank or less would be fine. Get too close to empty and it won't run because of not enough gas.

Get a fuller tank than that and it's harder to hold up while adjustments are made.

A reminder to those taking advantage of the clinic... it'll be a good idea to get to the hotel fairly early in the afternoon. I am sure that any & all mechanics will appreciate a bike that's had a chance to cool for an hour or two.

I count 4 carbtunes and Jeffs carbmate, will bring my carbtune if we need another(EOM veterans please advise). going to do mine before the trip but will be glad to assist.

deleted.

This new layout of a summary tree at the bottom makes it harder to see what everyone else has posted. It'll take some getting used to.

I will be bringing a Carbtune along with a set of hands to help out the "techs" but I won't be rolling in until Friday afternoon (assuming no other "issues" with the bike). Since I just did my own TBS I can now relinquish my coveted #1 spot to another worthy soul.... :)

I can always bring tools and be a helping hand. Just tell me what to bring and whos beer to fill.

I just need to get mine done and learn how to do it for the future.

Is the TBS clinic only happening Friday PM? I don't know if I'll be there before mid afternoon on Friday.

Greg, we took a vote some time ago. The TBS clinic will happen Friday afternoon w/ a Sunday afternoon rain date. I do apologize if this won't work out for you. Dinner & door prizes are Saturday... so, we are leaving any free time after riding for things like SHOWERS, drinking beer, etc.

Well, I guess I'll have to push my departure time from upper NY. Hopefully, I'll get there in time.

Ding Ding Ding! We have a winner! Tom, thanks for volunteering. Us Ohio boyz will show 'em how things get done.

So looks like we have plenty of sync tools. Who is going to man station #2 as the lead tech and bring tools needed for the job? Aviator and Axeman can

assist.

Oh, and I concur completely with Huron. 1/4 tank is ideal. If it's 1/2 tank, that's OK too. Any more and the tank get's heavy.

Please educate me, does an out of synch TB show up as handlebar vibration which gets progressively worse the higher you run the rpm range? As in when running hard in the twisteez? My bike was glass smooth for the first 2K miles, not so at 8.5K.

Ok so I've looked around but haven't seen an official sign up list. I think there's going to be 4 (5?) people bringing sync tools and a bunch of people wanting to get this done.

Is there an official sign up? Is there cost involved? Is there a cut off on the sign up list? I'd like to get in on this, if it's not too late :)

Nothing official, put your bike in line (around 5:30 Friday)& it will get done, will work for Beer! B)

I think that I spoke up to be involved in this event. Due to Tick fix I'm not in need. So, one person is stepping out.
