Thanks Richard, great pizza and good friends... great to see Turbo Dave, DJBill, Steve, Jill and and a whole bunch of new guys. Start cocktail now.

Thanks Richard for hosting the tech meet, it was great meeting new faces and seeing old friends, great food and company!

Gunny! Always fun at fairlaner tech days.

Lets see now a bunch of folks worked on R's bike. Torria is new to the forum and just bought a new to her 2006 GenII (sorry), she had some cool engine guards and bag guards she mounted, and we fixed her bent seat pan. That was like CalTrans, eight people giving advice and not much work happening, but we got it done without a tax payers dime! T

Also met RandyM that purchased a 2006 FJR AE from 2006FJR, Trent. Trent bought a giant dually crew cab BMW 1600LT land yacht. WOW! Fairlaner wheelied it down the street and tach'd it to 14K, redline stops at 10K! Uh oh.... He had the after burners on.

Of course SkooterG was on his POS GenII. We tried to turn into a GenI

Ms Ty arrived just in time. I got my hug and had to go.

Turbo Dave even made an appearance with his iron butt'er bike.

Silver Penguin arrived via her chauffeur Andy. Jill was walking too! She was all smiles waiting for her new Beemer.

J80s and Steve showed up on their Beemers. I wasn't sure if this was an FJR or BMW tech day...

The Iron butt man himself, Doug showed up to help too.

Nice meeting Bugnatr, also there - Roy, DJBill, Gary, Lawrence, Michelle, and a couple folks I'm sure I forgot.

After the two bikes were wrenched on the day went south as R and Andy started to play darts with those poor folks that would oblige them.

Great seeing everyone again always a fun time, thanks R.

R,

thanks for a great day. it was fun to see the many riding buddies. Weather was perfect as was my "flower sniffing ride".. Thanks for the pizza and hospitality.

Thanks Richard, it was great seeing everyone, meeting new people and helping wrench on a bike. Always enjoy solving mysteries brought on by farkles without instructions.

Thanks for puttin up with a few more dart holes in the NAFO poster. I'll try to avoid that and drop a few more double bulls next time. Great seeing everyone!

Thanks Richard. Had a great time.

Great to see some old faces and new.

Really loved hearing Jill sing the clasics and getting a few smooches from the beautiful Tyler. Hubba hubba

Also had fun sleeping with Doug and laughing like giddy school girls when dad came in and yelled at us.

Good times!

+1 on the fun at Richards. I met many of the So Cal folks I'm still putting names to the faces, the day passed all to quickly. Trent even let me climb aboard the 1600 with a propeller on it but next time I need a couple hours with it

Hit the road at 9 am from Richards with 460 to go and made it home in 7.5 hours. Monster tail wind and a bit soggy the last 3 hours, good thing my Hippo likes water

. I can't remember seeing another motorcycle after LA. Over 400 miles with no bikes on such a nice day, what's up with that?

Gotta try the sugar cane tonight.

Good times and I know Tyler was taking some photos too. There was a funny shot taken of 2 pieces of sugar cane being stuck in Richards exhaust. My only shot was of my new bike and the water pump that just failed!! Err.

Here's Richards improvement for a sweeter exhaust note.

Too bad on the h20 pump but at least you are covered.

It was great to see Turbo Dave on his fine ECV Feejeer. I enjoyed talking R1 track days with him.

Pizza was devoured between technical discussions and no bikes were harmed.
