I'll need to get my Piaa horns mounted, and get the fuse block wired up again. Maybe get the Radar detector wired...if I can get the new connection, in time.
The idea is to re-use the right side cover gaskets, but if we rip one, we replace it. You will not go wrong if you bring one. RTV in an emergency. There is a set of spares if any get lost/broken. I believe Wayne has spare valve cover gasket.

Set myself a reminder to check for wire tonight, but I think we're going to need some.
Ray, the Piaa's come with the required jumper wires. I will have them already to go, as far as altering the one end, with double spade connectors.Joe, the '06 had two feeds, one for each horn. The GenIII's only have one horn connection on the left side, so you need to make up a jumper to go to the other side, along with the appropriate spade connectors....... assuming you're not installing a relay into the circuit and run both PIAA's off the OEM circuit as we've done in the past.
You're talking the from the battery to the Fuzeblock right? I think we used 12 or 14 AWG for that. And if you're planning on mounting it in the same spot, I think that will be fine. Didn't we put it by the taillight last time? 16-18 AWG is fine for the peripherals. Just need to make sure it is multi-strand and not solid core. I hate solid core.Tim,I still have the wires that you mounted it with last year on the 06 (took it off before selling the bike)...I can bring more wire, let me know which AWG you'd like. I should be good with wires for connecting the Piaa horns.
I'm not sure where I can mount the fuse block. There is some sort of module in the tail of the 16, where I had it mounted on the 06. That being said, if I can't find a place to mount it, I'll just wire the pigtail for my heated gear directly to the battery, and give you the Centech AP1 and relay. You're talking the from the battery to the Fuzeblock right? I really do need to re-examine my electrical setup. It has gotten very sloppy. Not sure I'll get that done while I'm there, but I can do that a different day. Fuzeblock didn't seem necessary when I first started out, but now all this extra stuff is there, I should probably get one.
Yes...and there is another module in there tooEastern Beaver PC-8 is quite compact, has external relay available.... are you using the room in the under seat tray?

Don't let dem-dare' fozen tundrians brag too much about their beer, it ain't all that (anymore!).. and this below article coming from a Canadian publication...So that's explains why I run out of beer on Saturday afternoon, then hafta drink that pony piss they call beer on that side of the border......... but I hear there's a new item on the agenda, for all the curious, test rides on a nice blue 2016 that we're hoping gets delivered to the owner in the next few weeks!!
