Tech Day XV

Weights deliverd today, I'll be taking my wheels off the bike, as the rear is not holding air anymore, and bringing the tires, weights and wheels down in the car. I have extra weights, if anyone needs.

I'm going to load the Urinal up with FJR stuff, just in case we need extras. I have a pretty comprehensive valve shim kit, misc. small hardware and a bunch of electrical goodies. Hell, I could bring a kitchen sink on that bike if somebody told me it was needed.

We have our family with us from Naples that had to evacuate the hurricane. It looks like they will be here for a little bit til things get sorted out down there.

They have been getting some random reports from down there.

My parents have a ground floor condo, no solid info so far.

A brother lives in a condo, no word about the condition of their place either.

Another brother has a house and has trees down and shingles missing according to a neighbor.

This Friday Denny and I are meeting up at the gas station in New Concord,Ohio at 11:00 AM. Ohio Rts. 40 & 83. We are planning to head towards ,The Hocking Hills area before

heading to Geeks. This intersection is very close to I-70. Anyone coming up 77 or East on 70 is welcome.

One word of caution, Denny has a new blood supply to his head, his heart, and his testicles. He has picked up game a few clicks.

Our Labor day ride loosened up one of the three plugs in my back tire...ill be bringing my wheels, and a new set of tires down in the car. See you guys saturday.

My son Trevor is unable to make it to the Tech Day, but decided to bless us all with no rain through the weekend! That was really nice of him. He's a good kid and is always looking out for us. Let's hear it for Trevor. We all owe him one.

I'm 6 hours freeway and plan to depart at 5am to avoid traffic, but side roads and "squirrel!" are in my forecast, so late afternoon sounds about right
