There was some talk a while ago, but is there any interest in a tech day get together??

I've got room at my place or open to other suggestions.......

Howie can't go.. He's still grounded for peeing in his wifes flowers.

Now, this would normally be an issue....... But, They were in the house.

Howie will be there.... Never mind there might be a GenII There. :dribble:
Well, yes, some allowances would need to be made for GenII folks, esp as the house owner has one................

I don't have flowers, but if Howie absolutely can't use the garage bathroom, then of course, he can pick a favorite tree in the woods and it will be "his" for the duration of the tech meet!

I thought tech days were for all the folks up north that have to put their bikes away for the winter?

I don't need to do anything to my bike but I'm up for a ride!

I guess I don't really need to do anything to mine right now either, but I'd never pass up an opportunity to sit around and talk M/C's, especially if it's about one that I own! If I can help someone out, that's even better.

I'd be interested, but not until after NAFO sometime. Who knows, the bike may need something after that

After NAFO I am sure I will have LOTS to do to my bike! Gatherings mean ideas...

I am up for it Jim.... but I have the RAT 2nd week in Oct.

I would love to go to one. Being that I have only had the bike for a week, anything that I can learn would be most appreciated. I would love to have it looked over by people that know the FJR.

If there's interest, I can still host it at my place in Mims; let's work up some dates to see what works...

As long as I can get at least 2 weeks advance notice, I am good for whenever.

As a brand new FJR owner, a tech day would be great. Learn for others and see what farkles work and are in place. Is this still a viable idea? It would have to be in December for me now. 2 weekends going and coming to the family up in Illinois.

Mims is just down the road a nice ride. Can I do anything to help plan and set a date?

Drop me a line and lets get this moving forward.

Bump

Damn, I got sauerkraut on my keyboard...
Jim,

It is getting close to December- I work at the PO- This means overtime...

I have ALOT to do on my bike, I guess maybe I'll have to wait 'til Jan.

Still nice weather- hard to take the bike out of service...

How is the shoulder? Still considering Jax/SD ride?

T, have you got "all the stuff"? It would be easier to get everything gathered for install, or at least know exactly what you need to do so we can sort it out. Jan or anytime is good for me with advance notice. We'll be in Key West for Christmas to New Years, but other than that, I'll be around.

As to my shoulder and and upcoming LD ride, well, it looks like I'm gonna have to have a joint replacement after the first of the yr sometime, but nothing is set yet. I'm seeing something like 4 different doctors now so I get confused! Yes, I want to do a combined 4 corners tour with a 50CC/BBG on the Jax/SD part, with maybe Hyder thrown in for good measure (ya gotta use them kitchen passes when ya get 'em!), but next yr LD planning is on hold until I know for sure how my medical issues are going to work out.

For the tech day, who says we have to have only one? I'm not that far from some of you (esp NSB), so if you're close stop on by, and T, shoot up here and lets look at what you want to do some afternoon, OK? We'll go from there...
