I thought I would put this out there to see if I could find some like minded riding friends in middle Tennessee, I'm located in Nashville and interested in doing some weekend rides to anywhere USA! Congrats. I’m about 20 minutes from Manchester. Had mine about 2 months. Got it at Sloan’s. Did you buy locally?

I’d be glad to meet up with ya sometime. Also, I’ve seen another FJR in the area (between Tullahoma & McMinnville), but haven’t been able to talk to the rider. I believe there are 2 or 3 riders up in east TN and maybe 1 or 2 not far from Chattanooga. Anyway, give us a holler.

Bought mine at Sloans too great place to do business. I would love to get together sometime, I'm still shakin mine down. It's got twice the power of anything I have had before and is a lot heavyer as well. We need to pull all of these riders together and do some rallys.

Thanks for the info on the get together in Bone sounds like a good reason to make the trip. I was thinking about heading that way anyhow so now I know the best time to go! Please let me know if anything else comes up before then.

I'm planning on riding down to the Cherohala Motorcycle Resort in Tellico Plains over July 4 weekend

I plan on arriving Sat. afternoon July 1, riding Sunday and Monday, then heading home on Tues, the 4th. If anyone in the area would like to get together for a ride, that would be great.

Not planning on it, I think I'd rather be out on the road looging some miles. I'm going to head down the "Trace" this Satuday if you want to hook up somewhere. No definite plans just heading south on the Trace and then finding a different route home.

I just got in from a ride. Went down to Rock Island and back. Crossed the dam. Figured things could get squirrelly riding on those wooden planks, but it didn’t happen. The FJR, exaggerating of course, was “solid as a rock” and “tracked straight as a laser”. I couldn’t have been happier with the way it handled on those planks.

Anyway, they say we’re supposed to have more good weather this Saturday. Hope you have a safe trip and thanks for the invite. Doubt I’ll be able to make the Trace though. I need a new windshield before I can make an extended trip like that. The factory one just ain’t cutting it. Am currently waiting on a cal-sci tall. No chance of it getting here by Sat. Maybe I’ll have it early next week. Hopefully it’ll be “up to snuff”. Then an extended ride will be on my agenda. B)

Sorry you can't make it to the "Trace" found some other FJR Lads here in Nashville (were up to 4 now) and it looks like I may have some company.
