Picked it up today and quickly piled about 110 miles on the clock - top up, top down, mostly slow, some fast, mostly twisty, some straight lines. Cruising, passing, shopping... all in a day's work for the new-to-us Z4. :D

Just the ticket for daily commuting. Like the FJR, but with a heater, cup holders and a cool origami roof for the rainy days!

nice. :good:

i wrecked my truck two weeks ago on black ice (glad i was not on the bike that day) and looking similar things like that (the BMW is still an bit more than i can go) for when its cold and raining

Sweeeet!! Just about my top pick in 4-wheelers. But not practical for haulin' my dawgs around in :(

Are you kidding? Our English Springer fits in the footwell nicely. The two Cavaliers can sit nicely in there travel bags on the folded softop, strapped to the roll bars!

"Can't haul dawgs" my a$$... ;)

Congratulations!! Very cool ride!

If you don't mind asking:

-mileage

-price

Like to compare to the the price over here, usually prices for used cars are way lower in the US than in Europe...

Pics of the doggies please! I don't recall seeing Cavaliers on the Members' Pets post !? AND the Springer, too, please. Just need a goldie and you'd have all my favorites :) (sorry - I'm the queen of hijack)

Nice looking ride, with all the scenery in the pnw ragtops are great when usable, had one years ago, unfortunely, being a single dude, I had it set up for the dragstrips and playing around, headers, gears, ignition, timing, reworked carb etc. Met the future Mrs's, sold the car, went to europe (honeymoon) finished school and became a shopteacher. Now it is why do I need 3 bikes in the garage. I do like my heated seat.

Very nice looking ride. It does have two wheels too many though doesn't it? Oh one more thing. This is a family forum, so using words like this " origami "

might get you banned--just sayin :haha:

Excellent ride, nice! I just picked up a 1972 3.0 CSi (Italian import with FI). Brakes in progress.

BMW cars are hard to beat!

I hope the final-drive holds up better on that than some of BMW's other products.

:dribble:

Me likey. I've got a soft spot for drop-tops. Or is it dropped-tops....

<_<

Anyway, nice to see ya even got the fastest color out there!

:yahoo:

My wife has a Miata and uses my truck to haul the dogs around. That way she has plenty of room and I get to clean the slobber off the glass:)

It's left hand drive?!
We drive on the Right in the US Thug. Left had drive makes passing a little easier. ;)

Nice ride Sportsguy. Just watch out for the service dude. They like to make big bucks for simple stuff if you're not careful.

Same deal here at 778 in Freddy. Except I don't have a Miata. Works out great :)

I used to have one...actually got rid of it to get the FJR. Got it off Swapalease--had it for 22 months. Loved it. Is yours a 3.0si? Mine was with the manual. We have some deserted roads around here. Before I turned the car in, I kept my foot mashed to the floor in 5th gear (6sp tranny) and just at a hair under redline, sure enough the speed limiter leveled it off right at 155....Sure was a fun toy while it lasted. Love the soft top--no leaks, no air leaks, works awesome. Oh I miss that car!
