Puhleeeeze! You're at least 20 days early with the implication that one isn't forthcoming, doncha think?

Is there an anti-christ in the other room who has given you permission to go?
Just say NO to antichrists, sir! (Nice **** or not.) I would have thought you had enough experience with that for both of us.

So I have no idea what you mean, though there is a kind woman with whom I'm in an undefined but meretricious relationship, but she doesn't ride and I have permission. No pillions on this trip, but the third rider/photog is a well known trouble maker whom I shall not otherwise identify.

And what of the KLR?Non running since 2008

Prolly sitting in some dark corner of a garage somewhere with turn signals hanging by there wires and two flat tires. And who knows how many

different critters have set up house keeping in all its nooks and crannies.

Good thing you let me throw a leg over the Bird a while back, that was a fun run!

Give me a call when you want to get out.

If you factor in deprecation on that KLR and how many time its been ridden it prolly works out to about $1000.00 a ride. Hmmmm cheaper to rent me thinks

Exskibum,

What a great post!! Congrats to you guys for finally making it over to southern UT and to your buddy for his new found freedom! I'm headed down to Cedar City and St. George on Thursday May 14, to attend a wedding and to visit my daughter. Then on Sunday I'll meet up with a buddy from Reno who hasn't ridden southern Utah yet, and we are going to head out and hit the parks and other attractions (Zion, Bryce, Cedar Breaks, Capital Reef, the Burr trail), ride highway 12, staying in Torrey, then Moab the next night via Blanding. Then we'll work our way north to Evanston, WY where I'll head back home to Idaho, and my buddy will return to Reno via I 80.

We'll "scout it out" for ya!

Hope you guys have an excellent trip, and look forward to the RR.

What a great story. Very happy for you two, especially your bud with the new XX and new outlook. You guys will have a blast, I'm sure. We're expecting a good RR with lots of photos.

Now I just have to ask...does the shrew have nice ****?
I'm probably going to get an extra jimmy kick from MEM for this, but regrettably, the answer to that question is an unqualified YES.
At this point, I donno if we can trust your judgement. You had better post up a picture of this allegedly nice rack and let the experts ogle them...I mean judge them.

Zilla -- you're gonna have to trust me on this: **** are NOT the problem, and to an expert observer, they would rate above average in shape, size and perkiness. Just like a cop to want to handle examine ogle the evidence directly, though.

As to Bluestreek's observation, you'd have to ask him what he meant, because I assumed it was about renting a dual sport instead of owning my KLR with the defective Chinese rubber parts. After considering Mssr. Carver's astute question about the ambiguity, however, I'll reiterate a sound general rule I once saw posted on another motorcycle bulletin board: "if it flies, floats or *****, you're better off renting it." Can I get an AMEN to that, brothers and sisters?

The way this thread is going, I'm probably "racking" up jimmie kicks from the Canadienne.

I wouldn't worry about that if I were you. Those phuks can't even get it into the net, or down the ice, so you're probably REAL safe from a jimmie kick from them.

Good on you for getting Bob back on two wheels and with a bitchin road trip to celebrate the newly minted free man.
Looking forward to RR.

The world does indeed feel just a bit more right today.
+1, Gunny; nice work Rich, have big fun mi Amigo! jes' sayin' and nuff said, ese!

The one we used in the boat yard was " If it has tires, **** or propellers it's gonna cause problems"
