The Blue Angels are in San Francisco this Weekend

They're performing on Saturday and Sunday at 3:30 PM. Center stage is Municipal Pier or Marina Green. I go to the pier.

I've done this before, and it's definitely a motorcycle activity, since the cages are gridlocked within several miles in all directions. A bike is the only way to get up close and not taking hours to get there.

It's a fun challenge riding in, but does require a comfort level with rush hour-type traffic, only probably worse 'cause everyone's going to the same place. Side bags are a bad idea.

Anyway, I'm still up in the air (no pun intended) as to whether I'm going, but I could be nudged if others want to rendezvous. They are definitely a rush! I always want to join up after seeing them.

The Blue Angels are always a good show. Having the Golden Gate as a back drop makes it that much more beautiful.
