I travel a lot and recently was in Shizuoka.

I talked to Naoki Omura - General Manager of Motorcycle Headquarters and Masahiro Inumaru - Corporate Officer, Senior General Manager of Marketing Operations, Motorcycle Headquarters ; and Assistant Senior General Manager of MC Business Operations, Motorcycle Headquarters.

They said the leaders of Yamaha Motor Co. have a great sense of humor and decided to "kancho" their western consumers.

The make-up of the "kancho" is to put low grade valves in western engines.

They named the bike in honor of their prank. Funny Joke on Roundeye.

Kancho (カンチョー, kanchō?) is a game or trick often played in Japan by young school-aged children; it is performed by clasping the hands together so the index fingers are pointing out and attempting to insert them into someone's anal region when the victim is not looking. It is similar in spirit to the wedgie or a goosing in North America.

How many good folks (and some squirrely ones) know what the designated letters (FJR) for our fine toys stand for. Lets see the right answer and some imaginative ones. 1 grande Margarita in Reno for the best answer.
