I was on a 40 bike vintage ride with the So Cal Norton Club on the weekend of June 6th and we had lunch at the Parkfield Cafe in Parkfield, CA (Population 18). Five (maybe more) FJR riders pulled up right after our group, and I got one pic and spoke to a few of them. Names are long forgotten of course :eh-smiley: . Recognize anyone in the photo? Just curious.

Anyone interested in more pics of the Parkfield Cafe & Inn, here's a link to the rest of the photos. The SoCal Norton Club is bike-agnostic, by the way, they don't care what you ride and are a great group to ride with. I always ride a 50 year old BMW when when I go with them :)

Thats Joe, Tim, Jeff, me and Carver.

Unfortunately we lost Tim this last Friday so it is very fitting that you should post this right now.

Thank you

I figured the guys had to be on this forum! Very cool. I'm sad that one of the guys is not with us anymore, even though I never got to know him. If anyone wants the full-sized picture, it's at this link: Link to full sized 7 megapixel (3072 x 2304) image of FJR riders from the Parkfield Cafe.

If I remember right I saw you all again when you guys went past the Norton group while we were taking a break & checking out the view on Naciomento-Ferguson Rd.

Godspeed to Tim.

You do remember correctly.

I distinctly remember being stuck behind a few Nortons

Hey Craig,

I'm the guy that was talking old BMW airheads with you at ParkField. Unlike Rude Richard, you and I had a great conversation!

Thanks for sending the pix and info; some of those old bikes were waay cool.
