Sarg and I made it in a few min ago. I am a little road weary after 1098 miles for today. The first 5 plus hours were in rain. Torrential at times. Rain that heavy is scary. Lightning is downright terrifying.

I worked all day, that was worse. Have fun and be safe!

Grey Bull Wyoming for lunch. Great trip over the Ten Sleep. Heading up Shell Canyon now towards Burgess Junction before turning left towards Red Lodge and a Cold Brewski!😂. Eta 1700

After lunch we headed up Shell Canyon on US14, then turned left at Burgess Junction on 14A. It was hot as hell down on the flat but 70 at Burgess Junction. Arrived at the Chateau Rouge at 1700. 476 miles and a herd of 8 cats. A great ride and it was cool to watch 7 FJR riders in my mirrors.

A few random pics from the festivities here in Red Lodge.

The Canadians have arrived...

Snow expected in Glacier National Park; Winter Weather Advisory in effect

GREAT FALLS -

Visitors to Glacier National Park could get a wintry surprise this weekend.

The National Weather Service in Missoula has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Glacier National Park above 6000 feet in elevation.

STORMTracker meteorologist Mike Rawlins says rain will change over to snow at higher elevations on Saturday morning with some minor accumulation on Going-to-the-Sun Road.

"In general, 1-3 inches of snow should be expected above 6000 feet, but most of that will accumulate on the grass, not the main roads," says Rawlins.

Anyone traveling into the park should be prepared for wintry weather and should dress appropriately if heading up to Logan Pass.

The Great White North Liberation Army pulls out of Red Lodge heading for East Glacier on Sunday. Thankfully we missed that but we're prepared for the unknown. The latest weather picture looks more favourable.........

I got home at 2057. I left Red Lodge at 0615. I would have made the thousand mile trip faster, but Denver is a cluster ****. 20 and 30mph traffic from Fort Collins to maybe 15 miles south of Denver, for absolutely no reason. One minute, traffic was crawling and the next minute, people are moving. I don't get it. I think they're afraid to drive fast near each other. Pretty sure a majority of them are high. All the shenanigans I pulled to get though that mess and not one finger or horn honk. Weird!

It started out pretty chilly and then warmed up. Got rained on around Denver and again in Raton, but that second bout barely counted. Got to Albuquerque and it was 84°. Sheesh...

So, I'm home safe. It was good seeing everyone. Hope to see most of you in Montrose in a month.

AJ, thanks for coming, sorry you had to leave early but we all know "Family Comes First!"

See you in a month in Montrose.

next time take CO 470, the loop around downtown to the East out past the Airport, it is a toll road but most of the time they dont't bother trying to collect the tolls from non-Coloradans.

Glad you made it home okay.

, looking forward to seeing you again at NAFO.

Arrived at my aunt's in Hayden Lake for an overnight. My only casualty was the bite valve to my camel back. When that suckered flew off, water spewed everywhere. (sorry George, not sure if it sprayed you)

Didn't even know it went missing. A little evaporation action would have been nice this afternoon!
