There are no twelve step programs that I am aware of for the disease, however I have been thinking of starting a local chapter of Modaholics Anonymous for those of us who succumb its later stages.

:alcoholic:

Seriously good luck and continued safe riding with your new scoot! :good:

Oh my gawd that's hot ****! Gorgeous!

Next year for me. Maybe. I'm falling in love with my FZ1 again.

WC... I understand your new addiction. I swapped bikes with a guy on a gixxer 1k... DAMN... the rush after 7k rpms was intoxicating.

Why, I'll be! Congratulations! Be careful! Normally DTs occur within 36 hours, but I'll bet you'll get them every time within an hour every time you step off that piece of candy.

Dale,

Obviously you'll be a little short on funds for awhile...allow me to pony up for one of the bumper stickers that says:

My Wife Said If I Buy Another Motorcycle She Would Leave Me...God I'm Gonna Miss Her!

Have fun on your new ride!

Brad

Awesome machine, Dale!

Er...what did Mrs Warchild say when you showed up with bike #3?

:assasin: :assasin: :assasin:

Mine would have racked the slide on that .50 caliber she keeps in her closet

and opened fire  .

We still occasionally find brass casings from the time 4 years ago when I showed up on a V-Max I'd especially bought "for her to learn how to ride on" :haha:

Stef

What a weird-looking FZ1! :D

I have 3 words of advice for you, Warchild: Ivan's Performance Products.

(enjoy the new ride--love the color--I'll bet the FJR and FZ1 go there next--in England they've been selling the burgundy FZ1 for a few years).

Those 'Rad' rear Taillights would clean up the one visually detracting factor. I thought it was MC ing you were referring to. Damn Man your Wife's A 'Keeper'. :p

Just the other day my Wife discovered the FJR in the garage and told me my MC's had multiplied! TJ

You are a sick, sick individual! :stunned: :tease: Call me if you need a sponsor.

Wish I could swing one :D

She maybe a goddess, but I'd bet she bought extra insurance......or at least she should!!

She must be a real sweetheart!

Beautiful scooter!!

My wife informed me that I used to have G.A.S. Guitar Acquisition Syndrome and that I have switched to M.A.S.

I'd rather go to MAS than have GAS

Yes, that ride looks very nice and very fast.  How's the insurance?
Since this is one of the fastest, most sought after (as in: stolen) and heavily crashed bike on the market today, I was expecting a real shock for the insurance quote.

I was shocked, alright.... at how *LOW* it was!!

Thanks to State Farm basing rates upon cc's, and my exceptionally clean (ahem) driving record, it's only a paltry $29/month... I can live with that!

Let's see now.....

Bar risers,

Hard bags,

Auxillary fuel cell,

HID upgrade,

Russel daylong seat,

GPS,

Cruise control,

Superbrace,

Avons......

Check, check, and check!

You reeeeaalllyyy want to win the next Utah 1088, don'tcha!!! :p

Best of luck to you with your new ride!

Holy ****! He is crazy! :dribble:

Quick, someone get him a Piaggio. The unsufferable slowness will negate any desire to ride anything on two wheels ever again! :drag:

Kidding, natch. Sweet ride. I think you may be reading my mind. I have been thinking about one of those. But I know you can't just go and buy one... you have to kill someone first! :axed:

Sooooo, fess up. Who did you off? Marc? :coolio:

my riding buddy has an 04 r1 and it looks sheet hottttt. We just spent last weekend spooning new michelins on it, a Ti force full titanium system, a PC3, solo seat, sliders, and some sort of liquid gold ($$$) oil and antifreeze. I took it for a spin a few weeks back and instantly knew what it would be like to be prison *****! At 6-2 w/36" of leg, the brown winker was hanging out for all to see while my head felt like it was way out in front of the front axle! My RC51 was more comfortable! And that too tall first gear was a real ***** at parking lot speeds. BUT OH MY GOD on the open stretches of road  This thing won't carry me 30 miles without spinal readjustment, but it will get me there very very quickly!! Glad I gave these repli racers up. My kids are glad too. (but they don't have to know I still do 140 on the 'old guy' bike ;) )

That's funny  Also coming off a sport bike, when I rolled up the driveway on my FJR, my daughter saw those hard bags and her first comment was "that looks like an old geezer bike". My resolution to that: I had her put on a helmet and we went for a ride. She has a new respect.
