My brother David fell in love with the Southwest and will be moving to Las Cruces permanently in August. Yesterday he told me to check out the belt buckles on his website. I did. What can I say? They're gorgeous. Yeah, they're expensive, too. So what? I can't afford one but maybe you can. Check it out at my brother's Americana page.

BTW, David claims he's not going to get another motorcycle when he moves here. Now, that just ain't right! He's owned a Triumph 500, a Norton Commando, a white Harley police bike, and a couple Beemers. Isn't it time for an FJR?

My brother refuses to join the forum because he currently doesn't have a bike. Is that crazy, or am I nuts?

Not crazy, and so ...you must be nuts..

And I would have to be nuts to spend 500 bucks on a belt buckle...(pretty as they are...)

(not even sure if I own a belt...)

I whole heartedly agree, Knifemaker.

Well, how 'bout a nice briar pipe? Coat your lungs real good, I'm told.

I share his love of briar pipes and pipe smoking, but I tend to the english pipes and strong english and balkan tobaccos. The belt buckles are beautiful. I like the skull n crossbones one. Your bro seems like an interesting guy--he should join so we can talk pipes!

It wont' take him long to change his mind.... you got mountains, there, right? I've even seen them!

although my only ride thru Las Cruces was in March a couple of years ago on the superslab..... It was a bit chilly, but there were lots of cows to see..and smell! <LOL>

those belt buckles are fantastic.... I noticed some necklaces, too..... drooling...

thanks for the link..

Mary
