Someone say sumthin' about somebody in an *** kickin' contest?

How'd ya get that for free? Them things's 'spensive!
The good old Brit National Health Service :)

Even the kliktronic unit for changing gear was donated through the NABD. Though funnily enough charity regulations meant I couldn't recieve an adaption from the NABD during the 5 years I was their rep in Kent and later S/E England.
Ahhhh....I understand now!

Only problem I can see is it won't start in humid weather since it's got Lucas electrics. :)

Great sense of humour (Brit spelling variation) you got there Doc! Gotta appreciate that.......but tell us the truth now........that is what happens when you do the iron butt on a FJR isn't it

FJR heat is the greatest thing since sliced bread. Living in San Diego and riding along the coast or in the local mountains up around the 4500 to 6500’ range makes the heat a plus. Honestly, on the hottest day of the summer the heat only becomes an issue when stopped at a light or stuck in very slow traffic.

I'm gonna "give props" to the guy for his skill on creating that thing. Ugly? Yes. Functional? I guess. But I'm one of those that never really had a BIG problem with the heat. I did buy/install the Smitty fix, but whatever.

Honestly, the guy does have skill. With all the mods we like to do to our bikes, this guy might do well to make his services available to forum members. Any body NEED something for their bike? Just don't ask him to build you a seat!

The leg came free from the UK NHS service sure, but it's actualy made in America.

So like Harley it's a gamble getting it started in any weather :D :D

I've not had the pleasure of an FJR the AS I'm getting in 07 will be my first.

The millages I have planned for 07 I do hope that Iron Butt joke had no bassis in truth.

The Poland run will be a 2500mile round trip on it's own.

I'd ridden 760 miles to the rally that pic was taken at. That was the weekend when I decided I needed a tourer  :dribble: :dribble: :dribble: and so ended up on the Venture.

Today FJRFencer, Groo, Groo's Friend, Scab and I were at the top of Mt Cheaha and a guy rolls into the parking lot on the strangest looking FJR I have ever seen. The guy told us that he was tired of the heat so he started fabricating fiberglass to redirect the heat out the back of the bike. It's an 05 but yes the tank and his mods are the same color as an 03.
Check it out!
