Then you must be from new zealand or something. Check my spelling on that one, I have never been there.

:p

But if you pat your head and rub your belly at the same time they will know you are coordinated (throttle locked, of course). :p

I always wave, lift a clutch side finger (not the middle one)/or give a head nod if I don't want to take my left hand off the grip to ALL bikes I see. I don't give a **** whether they wave back or not, that's their problem, not mine. I feel a camaraderie with all bike riders, whether all of them feel the same or not.

Lee in the Mountains of Northern California

Having come from a bicycle background I tend to wave at everything on two wheels. There are times however that I fail to see my fellow two wheeler because of other traffic or distractions. Since I take no offense if someone fails to return a wave I like to think others won't. It's all good!

I usually give the "leo's ahead" sign.  (pat top of head).  They become law abiding citizens really quick.  Gotta love ******* with people.
You?? Mess with people? Now why do I find that so hard to believe? :D

BTW, yep, I'm a waver. I'm usually so dang glad to have found time to get on the bike that I'm waving at pretty much anything on two wheels.

Where I come from, patting the top of your head means your headlight is off and you ought to turn it on. Usually doesn't generate compliance at night  , but usually riders figure it out in the daylight...
Hmmm... Patting top of head here mean "emergency vehicle"...

usually cops...

thot that one was more or less universal... top of head = light on top of car (or bike)

"well look at the brain on brad!"....pulp fiction. Yeah....usually it means leos are ahead. Someone has to be from new zealand......and noone has checked my spelling on that...so it must be good.

I always acknowledge in one form or another regardless of the motorcycle their riding :haha: ...it's just proper edicate B)

Yep. I do... or I don't.

Normally I wave but some days there are just too many bikes going by and I get tired of it so, on those days I only wave if the other rider waves first.

Geezer...is this what I have to look forward to  ...seeing how your a wee bit older then myself :p

Yep. :D

Actually, I remember the first time I waved at a fellow biker and did not get a wave back. I couldn't understand what the guys problem was. Then I discovered that there are certain riders, most frequently Harley riders, who simply don't wave. That was a few years back. It seems that most riders, even ones on Harleys, do wave these days but there are still some hard core ones out there.

Where I live there's just too many peeps riding to wave at everybody.

Some clubs do not wave, I've ridden "coffin" with one club... handlebar to handlebar, about 4'- 5' from the guy in front of you...

It simply takes too much concentration riding like that to even notice other riders...

And then there are just times I dont' want to be bothered, and won't wave..

My brain is busy discussing philosophy with my psychatrist.... <BG>
