What happened to the brotherhood of bikers. It used to be Harleys and everything else. Now those cruiser guys don't know what they are. It's an identity thing. Years ago you could tell a Harley a mile away. Now everyone's scared they will wave to the wrong brand or get rejected. Man what a bunch of whimps. Now take us Jeep guys. No matter if you're driving a CJ, YJ, TJ, etc we all wave. We haven't forgotten why we drive Jeeps. We need to think about why we ride. If its all about image then screw it. If its about the spirit, then who cares what you ride.

I get a lots of waves when I'm riding my Softail...

I get some waves when I'm riding my Bandit...

Aint' nobody waved at me yet... when I'm driving my Liberty...

Just cause you ride a bike don't mean you're my brother... it means we might have a common starting point...

"you" is used here in a generic sense... not to anyone here personally...

Hey I guess you're right. I'm just as stuck up as some bikers. I won't wave to a liberty either. As far as I'm concerned Wranglers are the only real Jeep. I guess it's that attitude that breaks apart the "brotherhood" thing.

Hehehehe...

I'll just sit there on my electrically heated leather seats with the little push button garage door opener/time,speed, distance temperature computer to tell me if i'm going in the right directiion listening to my Infinity speakers with the 250 watt subwoofer playing sweet Hawaiian music... and ingore all the ohter Jeeps! :bleh:

My oldest daughter drives a Wrangler. She enjoys waving and being waved at by other Jeeps, sometime even Cherokee drivers wave. When I drive her Jeep I normally don't even notice that other Jeep drivers waved at me until she chastizes me for not waving back.

I have a Ford Explorer, Plymouth Breeze, and Chevy crew cab and I never wave when I'm driving one of them. :bleh:

I guess my Liberty doesnt' count as a "real" Jeep! <G>

it's only 2wd, tho...

all the bikers here dont' wave either... on a Sunday you'd spend all your time waving! Oh well. <G>
