Yeah, he'll probably end up dead on the road somewhere. I just hope he doesn't take someone out when he goes. In the mean time, he is a living advertisement for lower speed limits and more traffic control.

<snip>In the mean time, he is a living advertisement for lower speed limits ....
How would that help? Wasn't he "50 in a 35"? Would 40 in a 25 somehow been better? Or, 30 in a 15? All those speeds are really relatively slow by modern traffic standards.

I don't think it will help. That's just what I have seen happen. Any more detailed explanation I can think of would touch on the realm of politics.

Funny. But am I the only one a little skeptical about how this managed to be filmed?

Who contracted to do it and got access if this was a true documentary style clip?

I'm doubting Ray would have done so and then allowed it to be posted with his clownish parking lot high side in it.

The court? They're usually publicity shy and it's usually a lawyer (as a pro tempore judge) or commissioner sitting in traffic claims courts, with insufficiently interesting cases to bother with all that -- certainly with anything more than what goes on in the court itself. How would anyone have known what would transpire in court on this case so as to do the setup with Ray (including getting his consent) on his way into the court? Or follow him out to the parking lot? Or to re-enact the stop?

Looks like a reality TV script where they had an agenda and set about to put together a sensational, funny, ratings grabbing production. Maybe Ray was a dupe-tard for it, but still. Notice also that the LEO testifies about Ray's "silver" bike, but in the reenactment of the stop, and in the parking lot scene at the end, Ray is riding a black and red bike. Usually the color of a vehicle stopped by a LEO is written on the citation and they don't usually get that detail wrong.

I'm thinking this was staged. Funny, but staged or mostly staged. How else do you set up the cop in the car and Ray essentially reenacting the stop and then also have the court scenes filmed (purportedly 3 months later)? I can see getting use of the courtroom for that purpose, but I just don't see any way this was an "as it happened" film for anything beyond a couple parts.

EDIT TO ADD: Reviewing the clip, I see a credit at the end that says in caps: "All cases and verdicts shown are real. In certain instances, courts may review cases and choose to alter portions of rulings after the fact." If so, then I can't help but wonder how this was set up so that Ray was interviewed before the appearance, strolls into the courtroom as his case is being called, and how many dupe-tards are willing to act like Ray for the cameras, even to the extent of staging the original stop as a part of the story.

Cop said he dropped his keys on the ground. That he most have been stopped before.

What's that about?

Just a matter of time with this guy. Can you imagine how terrifying it would be for anyone riding with him?

He gives murdercycles a bad name.

I think this might be a fairly standard procedure for Florida sportbike stops.... it gives the LEO a tiny bit of hope that the sportbike 'tard can't quickly hop on the bike and make a run.

Though most everything here looks "staged", so, who knows....

AND then he eats ****!!! Staged or not, I think that part was real. That kind of looked like a Court TV segment to me, so maybe they were riding with the cop when he wrote the ticket and just figured Ray was a big enough ******* to make the court appearance interesting. Haha...The judge was hot.

I was stopped on my V-Max in NH, the local Kingston cop sat in his car and used the PA to tell me to throw my ignition key out onto the road. He then told me to get off my bike and lay face down on the shoulder with my hands over the back of my helmet. He didn't get out of his cruiser until the keys and I hit the road.

Contrived or not? Probably contrived. I did notice that “it’s all about me” wasn’t allowed traffic school to wash the ticket. During the stop and after court studdley ruffrod was riding a red/black bike, in court the cop says he stopped a silver bike.

This is not "staged". It is from a reality show on CourTV where real speeders are filmed getting the ticket and sometimes fighting it in court. They agree to be filmed and sign a waiver. If you look, when the dude rides up to the courthouse, he has the wireless mic attached to his belt. The crew most likely met him down the street and hooked it to him. I seriously doubt that these people are coached in any way however, the camera does tend to bring out the worst in some people.

From what I have seen, the judge is always the same in this show. I believe that she is a real Broward county judge and that the $200 ***** tax that Ray received will have to be paid by him.

This douchetard (I love WC's use of highly appropriate descriptive names) seems to be a character from one of Carl Hiasson's wonderfully hilarious stories of Florida folks. I'm certainly not suggesting Florida has more whackos than anywhere else, but they sure as hell are front and center on the stage of ****** up folks! I'm damn certain that my state of Oregon has its fair share, as I'm sure Ponyfool or FJR_pig can attest to.

I do give him an A for self confidence, however misplaced.

And I do like the judge....

Uhhhhhh, wow. There are people like that? The last part (yard sale in the parking lot) was THE best. How does a person live as long as he has if this is real?

I think the funniest thing he said was 200 MPH,
No, no.... the GSXR-1000 can indeed reach that speed. B)

However, it needs to be dropped from the space shuttle to obtain this velocity... and of course, that would be: terminal velocity!
