Hmmmm - GW = 4500 RPM (or there abouts) = 100 MPH

FJR = 4500 = 80 ish? What the hey - kinda like that Honda gearing for cruising! And the FJR for running through the gears, if only there was a little switchy thingy that could ......... or maybe a 6th or 7th gear, or maybe ...................

55mph is at around 2400 rpm on the GL1800. If I remember right, 70 is around 3K or so. But the redline on this flat 6 is much lower. It also has more torque down low and in the mid level rpms than the FJR does, but it doesn't have the ponies in the upper rpms like the FJR either.

Take note of the redline on the GW vs the FJR. If the FJR was geared like the Wing the top speed would be, well, very high.

 
The only thing that's missing is your feet. After seeing your DVD's, I expected to see your tootsies on the bars.
