Throttle Body caps - Where can I get better caps

If you want to do it up, remove the 4 little vacuum caps, and replace each one with about a foot-long length of vacuum hose. Run these hoses out from under the rear of the tank to under the seat near the tool tray, and then stick an inline nipple (hee, hee... I said nipple) into the hose ends and put the removed caps over those. This way you can do a TBS at every oil change (as per the FSM) without even lifting the tank and won't be losing your caps into the engine abyss!!

How cool is that. Huh?

That is cool, and worthy of the geek you are my friend. And while that makes for an easy check, you still would have to lift the tank for the actualy adjustment.

If you just pretend to adjust the screws the results are roughly the same.

You could do a TBC but not a TBS. : )
