Seems the design of the heated grips screws up the installation of all throttle locks. The rubber part of the grip along with the wires goes into the twist grip housing of the throttle barrel. Doesn't seem to be any way for the standard design of the locks to grip just the throttle tube.
The Brakeaway as it is designed for other bikes (ie. slipping over the entire grip) would seem to work, however the Brakeaway for the FJR is made to go over the throttle tube after removing the grip and reinstalling. This would not work with the heated grips.
Any suggestions?
