Somebody on two FJRs were stopped along this section of VA-16/Buchanan Hwy, south of Tazewell VA, north of Hungry Mother State Park, on Thursday afternoon shortly after lunch taking pictures.

I'm pretty sure you snapped a picture of two FJRs, one (blue 2006) running 2-up and the second (black 2008) solo. Since the photo has not been posted, any chance I can get a copy? Would love to have it for my research project.

TIA

Ask, and ye shall receive! I believe this is you, Jeff. I was on the side of 16 after riding through Burkes Garden and heading back to Marion. I was on the side with 2 other FJR's and we could hear you coming up the hill at, shall we say, a hectic pace! Knowing it was you, I would expect nothing less!

I only got two shots, one of each group. We could hear them coming up the mountain for about 10 minutes before we saw them. There not too good, I couldn't get the good camera to work.

Rumors?

I wish we could have stopped by, but our love of the road kept us moving. 7 days, 5 states, 2200 miles with less than 200 of them on the slab.

Thanks!

Wayne, rumor had it you were in the area. I suspect you're one of the three in this group that came by me after Jeff. Would have loved to have seen you in Knoxville!

Suddenly encountering someone along the roadside distracted us from the purpose at hand. We had to slow down and make sure you guys weren't in distress. The hand gesture to roll on through was greatly appreciated. Wouldn't want Niehart to think his girlfriend has slowed down any.

Thanks a bunch for the video. We were discussing how nice it would be to see it. I spent the entire afternoon trying to shake that damn 2008 off my license plate.

:)
