Time to put winter tires on a sled

Yesterday took older kid to the movie and then to buy him some hockey gear. It was raining and temp around 40. I am driving g35 coupe on a performance tires. Coming up to a 90 degree turn I slow down to what I think is a right speed, I guess I misculculated a bit. Car turned about 30 degree and then decided to start sliding towards 4runner. No panic, look through the turn and make it with room to spare. Was a good wake up call to remind me that I am on a summer tires and it is 40 outside.

Either today or this week I am putting winter set on my and wifes full size montero.

So, let's remember that mistres winter is here and adjust our driving and if need to put winter tires on.

With the snow tires it is like a tank. I only got stuck once and it was in 7+ inches of snow in the driveway of my friend.
