Toll Transponder Location

The transponder for my bike has suction cups, I just lick it and stick it..... on the tank. Store it in the glove box. Haven't had a problem yet 2.5 years on Florida tolls

I have my S/O hold it over her head at the tolls. Although now that you mention it, What am I gonna do if I go without her, she is also my navigator, hhhmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.....................And NO I am not buying a GPS....(I don't mind getting lost, it makes it more fun!)

In WA they cost $30 each and are weatherproof - designed to mount to the front license plate of cars as well.

Since I'm not paying $30 per bike I just carry it in my jacket or tank bag.

I attached mine on the top of my trunk with the supplied velcro. Only use the two for long trips, so it's a good marriage.

It seems that I'm on the highway just about every trip so I bought the toll pass holder from Cycle Gadgets. Attached to left mirror.

When I'm touring I keep my "Fast Lane" transponder (Massachusetts' version of EZPass) in the tankbag map pocket. As I roll through the toll booth I lift up the back edge of the map pocket to face the transponder more directly at the receiver. I've also simply slipped the transponder into my jacket's chest pocket, being sure to get it oriented correctly, and that has worked fine... everywhere except the Rip van Winkel Bridge in New York state which has a gate so an attendant had to come out, take my transponder into her booth, scan it, return the thing, return to her booth to open the gate, and, I assume, deal with a dozen ticked-off drivers who were behind me. Ain't technology grand?

make sure your bike plate is listed on the ez pass forms / application along with your cars. If it is, you can notify them (ezpass) that your transponder didn't go off. they'll just deduct the toll charge,,,,, wont fine you

I don't even keep my EZ pass tag on the bike and the toll gets deducted every time.

I forgot to mention earlier, when I requested a transponder for my FJR they sent me a motorcycle specific unit. It looks exactly the same as the ones in my cars except it has a big sticker with an 'M' on the side that faces forward. With that I get a motorcycle discount at many of the NY tolls. I guess the big 'M' is to discourage people from using a motorcycle transponder in their car to get the discount.

I use a TagSak which attaches to my windshield (or any other non-porous surface I imagine) with suction cups. The EZPass fits snugly inside and so far the suction cups have held fast on all my trips without incident.
