Mmmmmmmmmmm hmmmmmmmmm!!! . . . I just scored two tickets (and a beautiful blonde gets the second one) to see Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers at Raleys Field on Oct. 20!!!!! In front of the stage on the floor (or outfield grass), second row of the second section back!

:yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo:

:guitar: :guitar: I hope they play "Crawling Back to You" this tour, but even if they don't, TP and the boys are one of the best live bands I know. It's always a party where they come "to play some rock and roll for you". :guitar: :guitar:

Lucky dog. I really like his new album. I think I will check tour schedule for AZ dates.
The new album, "Highway Companion" rocks!!! I especially like "Square One" and "Saving Grace". I just now got done ripping it (and James Blunt, David Gray and 3 Kacey Chambers albums) to iTunes and onto my iPod as the new tuneage for this weekend's NorCal FJR ride to Quincy, Lassen, Red Bluff, Fortuna, Fort Bragg and back home. Now I better go finish packing the Feejer for the 8:30 am rendevous.

BTW, after I posted this, I found out that Jackson Browne is the opening act. THIS is gonna be one great night! :D

Sounds like a great show. A great show I saw recently was Bruce Hornsby. I caught that in Boulder when I was in Colorado a few weeks ago.

I like music.

It will be easy to track the Who traveling bus. It will be the one driving 25 miles an hour in the left lane with the blinker on continuously. It will also have a bumper sticker that reads, "Ask me about my grandchildren". :p Roger and Pete will be inside the bus looking like... :dribble:

Just kidding. Should be an entertaining show. Who'd (no pun intended) ever thought that they would still be doing what they did in their twenties when they're in their sixties. And still getting paid big bucks to do it. Son of a gun. What a life.
