Hop on the Feejer this morning to head to work, start backing the big guy out of the garage, and the rear tire is flatter than Debra Messing.

I am NOT taking the wheel to a dealer for a new tire. Y'all know what a bargain THAT is. It's also WAY too worn to bother plugging.

So, I'm gonna buy a set of Avons from FJRGoodies and put 'em on myself.

Now, for the tool info I'm requesting....from any of you that do your own tire changing, I'd appreciate a recommendation for changing tools. Spoons, irons, whatever you call 'em. Not a changin machine. I would never get my money's worth out of a machine.

Thanks, guys 'n gals.

Will your dealer just fit a tire if you bring it in with the wheel?

Mine do costs ~$25 a wheel balanced, you will not find a decent tire iron for that price.

I think if you try to do the rear using irons only you are going to have trouble and will probably wreck the rim.

Oh if you do take it to a dealer take some pictures of the rim before hand.

Some FNG fitted one backwards, didn't line up the spot on the tire with the valve stem and gouged the rim trying to fix it (Old bike not this one), Service manager tried the old 'It was damaged when we got it" line.

Pulled out the camera and called the owner over.

Other than I know your pain as far as not having the things needed to do the job, hopefully someone in your area will be able to assist you with this, otherwise find a local chrome shop, they seem to be more willing to help than the dealers. At least that is the way it was here in Kentucky

Good for your dealer! Half or more of the dealers in my area won't do the job if you didn't buy the tire from them (at twice the Internet price). The ones that will do the job want between $75 and $125 per tire.

NWS?!?!?! WTF? Where's the hooters?

Well, akshoolie, there was a serious LACK of hooters, since the photo was Debra Messing of "Will & Grace", but apparently, the hosting server didn't like me linking their pic, so they killed the link, and so did I.

HOWEVER, that all being said, here's a set of ****s for ya:
