For those of you who may be looking for various places to eat during your stay in Townsend, there is a list of Townsend, TN restaurants here:
Townsend Eateries
Still looking for suggestions of places to eat on the rides out of town.
Lunches at the bottom of the Dragon in Deals Gap are pretty decent.
And another Townsend restaurant link:
Eatery list number two
And even a GOOGLE MAP list of Townsend Eateries:
Google Townsend Eats
Ok, I'm going nuts. Here's Fontana Lake/Dam, NC eateries on Google Maps. It does not include the resort at Fontana Lake, which may be a stop on my ride. But it does show some places along the way, and in Robbinsville, NC.
Fontana/Robbinsville Eats
And finally for Tellico Plains, TN:
Tellico Plains Google Eats
These are not ALL the restaurants you can find. These are just the one's listed on the web, especially those willing to pay to be listed. There may be other pears out there that are not listed, and if anyone knows of PRIME locations, please let us know.
Bar B Que across the street from the Tally Ho on Sat night sounds pretty good to me, though. So mostly I'm looking at lunch and even breakfast locals.
