Those are not hairline cracks, they are actual hairs embedded in the rotor. Ignore them.
Finally the right answer to Tripper Mike's problem, unreal that the correct diagnosis came from a Canuckistani! The beer and whiskey truck must have broken down on the way to BC's Sunny Similkameen, eh! JSNS, Hosers eh!

Fuzzy rotors... huh. Guess the Gen 1 is going through puberty early.

What's next? Exhaust note drops a scale or two? Start chasing Ninja 300's?

Ok so here's the down low on the cracked rotor as it was explained to me at the shop where I got a new tire.

The rotor may very well have been cracked when I looked, but because Mama Yama uses a Cyborg hybred metallic alloy steel, the rotor healed itself. The mechanic seemed quite surprised that I saw it before this self-healing occurred.

I'm sticking to my guns here. It was cracked but it ain't no mo. Ya just gotta love Yamaha and its techno wizardry.

Self-healing hybrid metallic alloy steel.
