:yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: Just got back from 8 days on the Feejer. Left Eugene through Marcola, Sweethome, Mt Hood and the Gorge to Pendleton the first day, up and over the LoLo Pass to Missoula, to Kalispell and BEAUTIFUL Glacier National Park from West to East, (you will not believe the beauty of this incredible place), stayed at Many Glacier Resort on Tuesday night. Woke up to one of the most beautiful sunrises ever, left on Wednesday for Gardiner Montana and the North Entrance of Yellowstone National Park, Wednesday, through Yellowstone and The Grand Teton National Park to Jackson Hole Wyoming, to Idaho Falls and then on to Boise. Incredible trip with amazing scenery, lotsa twisties, straight shots and everything in between. I went with my brother Bill from Santa Maria, Ca. with him on his brand new beautiful Suzuki Boulevard. It was painted by the guy that did the ghost rider scooter with "real flames" that got a lot of looks by other bikers and cagers too! I rode this machine for a few hours and both him and I agreed that the FJR was the most amazing bike. His scoot had plenty of power but it killed me. My helmet was trying to be torn from my head after about 45 mph, the forward, cruising position was a pain in my back and shoulders from holding on so i didn't get thrown off from the wind and the noise was deafening. I so love my FJR, so quiet, powerful and comfortable. He admitted it to but didn't bitch too much cuz he didn't want me to know that he was dying the whole trip. 2500 miles of bliss, over so soon. I can't wait until next year, it's his turn to pick the route. Maybe i will even ride to california!!!
If you ever have the chance, don't miss the opportunity to see Glacier on your motorcycle, it's the most beautiful place on the continent...
ride safe and watch out for the crazies out there...
