Beside my donation, I've organized a rummage sale of assorted m/c stuff here in the Milan area. There'll be some 20 riders attending and100% of the proceeds will be PayPal'ed to Ponyfool on Sunday in time to meet the deadline (we're 9 hrs ahead of youse folks).

Geography...just another example of something that CANNOT stand in the way of a good deed in this fantastic community of ours.

Thanks Stef. You da man!

Wow. Just ******* wow. I'm so damn proud to be a part of this community. You folks are simply the best group of people I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. Really, like Fairlaner said, you guys rock!

And as someone reminded me, not only this community, but the entire motorcycling community. Andrew touched many on Pashnit and ST.n who have come here and donated.

Now Teerex is having a rummage sale in Italy and Stef will donate the proceeds before the deadline.

What an amazing group of people!

As I cant make the service due to damn jury duty am sending a donation.

Just a tad over $8600 as I am logging off my computer to hit the road down to the memorial. When I get down there and set up, I'll shut down donations and update the total.

Thanks, Ponyfool, for setting this up and thanks to the fellow who (yesterday, Saturday) informed me of the deadline.

All,

Stef just let me know his rummage sale was successful - and his funds are being sent to Ponyfool.

However - the nut hasn't been hit yet - but it's getting close -

There's about 8 hours left - so let's get the word out - contact other forums and let them know about the deadline - let's try to make the goal !!

And I am absolutely PROUD to be a member of this community. Absolutely the BEST.

Along with the usual motorcycle items (tools, keyrings, gloves etc.) I auctioned off some of my "Chateau FJR1300" bottles (it's Italian Prosecco wine with an FJR Forum label ) :D Needless to say, they got snapped up real fast...

Wow Scott,

I am really impressed by the outpour of monetary support here in this thread and I just could not be left out.

And.....that payment method was alot easier than I thought. I hope I did not wait too long.
